Fluid build up in the joints can dissipate once they walk around, meaning they limp for a while before returning to normal walking. However, if this happens repetitively, it might be due to a developing joint problem. The temporary bad posture would likely explain the reason for the temporary limping. ![]() This type of lameness in a dog's leg shouldn't be worrisome if it is an isolated case. It is similar to when we have a paresthesia, a condition known more colloquially as a limb ‘falling asleep’. This can happen on any leg, not just the front one.
